God Will Ultimately Save The Majority of Humanity!
By Juan R. Rains
Currently, few, even in the Church of God, understand that Today is
not the only day of Salvation.  Various religions are antagonistic to
this doctrine even though they have no logical or biblical alternative.
In fact, some had rather teach that God saves the heathen – never
having known the name of the Christ (a direct contradiction to
scripture) – than believe that God has ordained one’s salvation in a
later age.  Others believe that the vast percentage of humanity will
suffer the vengeance of eternal hell.  How one can believe that a just,
kind, loving God can consign someone to an eternity of hell for a 60-
80 year lifetime of evil doing goes beyond all logic.

Acts 4:10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the
name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from
the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become
the head of the corner.
12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

One perceives that those who believe “only one life and then the
judgment” do so because they cannot accept that someone is getting
away with sin in this lifetime and/or they believe that God would
never give anyone a “second” chance at salvation.  In other words, if
we must work for our salvation, why should someone else get a free
ride in this life only to get “another” chance for salvation in a future
life?

To begin with, we should understand that nobody is getting away with
anything.  A wise man understands that the way of transgressors is
hard.  In other words, those in the world who do not follow the Laws
of God are making it just as hard on themselves as they possibly can!
Therefore, sinners should obtain our pity rather than our disdain.

Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of
transgressors [is] hard.

It is true that sin is pleasurable.  If sin were not pleasurable, the
effort against it would cease to exist, as well as the advantage of
working against sin for building righteous character.  In other words,
if sin were not pleasurable, how would we build strong righteous
character?  None would want to sin, but character in such a
framework would be of less value than when sin is pleasurable.

Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God,
than to enjoy (taste of) the pleasures of sin for a season;

Nevertheless, sin always exacts an unpleasant payday – even in this
life.  One always gets back what he gives out:

Isaiah 3:11 Woe unto the wicked!  [It shall be] ill [with him]: for the reward
of his hands shall be given him.

NEB:
Isaiah 3:11 Woe betide (comes upon) the wicked!  With him, all goes ill, for he
reaps the reward that he has earned.

Beyond this, one should understand that the reward of those who gain
salvation in this age is greater than any promised to those who
receive salvation in a later era.  For the past almost 6000 years, the
Father has been selecting those who will make up the Bride of His
Son.  After the Christ marries His Bride, then the work of bringing
the rest of humanity into the Kingdom of God can begin.  However,
God will structure those who obtain salvation after the Marriage
Supper of the Lamb, which takes place at the end of the first 6000
years from Adam and Eve, below the Christ and His Bride.  In other
words, the first resurrection is the better resurrection.

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the
marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they
are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.
These were redeemed from among men, [being]
the firstfruits unto God and to
the Lamb.

Hebrews 11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others
were tortured, not accepting deliverance;
that they might obtain a better
resurrection:

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature (God’s creation)
waiteth for the manifestation (the revealing) of the sons of God.

Beyond all this, one should understand that unless God the Father
draws one to salvation, it is impossible for one to obtain salvation of
his own volition.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father, which hath sent me
draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Therefore, God the Father determines in what age one shall have
opportunity for salvation.

One should also understand that one has not had an opportunity for
salvation unless God has given His holy spirit in order for that person
to think in the God Culture Mode.  Read our book on
The Two
Natures.  Therefore, it is foolish to speak of a “second” chance for
salvation.  The bible teaches only one chance for salvation:

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Which Resurrection?
The first resurrection occurs just at the beginning of the millennial
reign of Christ.  Those in the first resurrection make up the Bride of
Christ; they are priests of God and of Christ; and they are part of the
Royal Family of God who will assist Christ in His reign for 1000 years.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first
resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but
they shall be priests
of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The rest of the dead remain in their graves until the seventh
millennium is complete.  The parenthetical statement in Revelation 20:
5 comes between two different thoughts concerning those of the first
resurrection.  “This is the first resurrection” refers back to verse
four.

Revelation 20:4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom
judgment was committed.  Also, I saw the souls of those who had been
beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God, and who had
not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their
foreheads or their hands.  They came to life, and reigned with Christ a
thousand years.
5
(But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were
finished.)
 This [is] the first resurrection.

However, the fact that the scripture says that the rest of the dead
lived not again … until…proves that those dead not raised in the first
resurrection will live again!  The obvious question: Why does God
bring them back to life?  That is what this study is all about.
Man Shall Live Again!
Let us begin with the biblical understanding that man will live again
after his physical life is complete.

Job 14:14 If a man die, shall he live [again]? All the days of my appointed
time will I wait, till my change come.

Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that
there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

It seems that many, especially those who are religious, just accept
without thinking about it that God judges everyone in his first
lifetime.  Let us explain what we mean by “first lifetime”.

We know that of all the people who have ever seen the light of day on
planet Earth fall into two broad categories, at the end of their days:
1) Righteous and 2) Unrighteous.

However, we should comprehend that how humans see themselves is
not always accurate.  In fact, it would be more correct to say that
almost everyone sees himself falsely.

If Today is the only day of Salvation, then Satan has an almost
complete triumph over God!  Think of the billions of people on earth
who have lived and died without hearing the name of the Christ.  God’
s plan is for everyone, not just the few:

1Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the
truth.

Furthermore, God is not willing that any should perish, but that all
should come to repentance:

2Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count
slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.

The bible gives us a great deal of information to show that now is only
the age of the firstfruits of God and that older generations will
appear again on earth to learn the truth of God and respond to that
truth, in the white throne judgment period.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should
be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Matthew 11:20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty
works were done, because they repented not:
21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin!  Woe unto thee, Bethsaida!  For if the mighty
works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would
have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
22 But I say unto you,
It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day
of judgment, than for you.
23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought
down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been
done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
24 But I say unto you, That
it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in
the day of judgment, than for thee.

Romans 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall
come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

Ezekiel 37:4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto
them, O ye dry bones,
hear (understand) the word of the LORD.
5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to
enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover
you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and
ye shall know that I
am the LORD.

It is in the last day of God’s plan – the eight day of the Feast of
Tabernacles – the eighth 1000 year period – the White Throne
Judgment – that God offers salvation to all.

John 7:37  In the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried,
saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

2 Peter 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that
one day [is]
with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day.

For now, only a few appreciate the mystery of the kingdom – the rest
cannot comprehend.  Moreover, we should grasp the reason they
cannot understand is partly because they do no want to understand.
It is doubtful that God would turn away anyone who seriously desires
the truth.  However, the cares of this life tend to choke out one’s
aspiration for righteousness.

Mark 4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of
the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done
in parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and
not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should
be forgiven them.

Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the
word of the Lord: and
as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for
me with all your heart.

More than 90% of the current societies base their culture on the law
of sin.  The societies of the past have done little better than have
those of today, according to history.  Why would God allow Satan so
much advantage?  Has Satan shortened God’s hand that it cannot
save – if not, what is God up to?

Isaiah 59:1
Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;
neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
